Brev is owned and operated by Klaudjo Shkurta (“I”, “me”, “my”). This Privacy Policy explains how Brev handles your information.
2. Data Collection
Brev does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data on external servers. All notes and app data are stored locally on your device only.
3. Permissions
Brev requests the following permissions:
- Microphone — used solely for voice note capture. Audio is processed on-device via the Android Speech Recognition API and is never stored or transmitted.
- Internet — required by the Android Speech Recognition API for cloud-based transcription. No other data is transmitted over the internet.
4. Third-Party Services
Brev uses the following third-party services:
- Google Speech Recognition API— for voice transcription. Subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
- Firebase Crashlytics — for anonymous crash reporting. No personally identifiable information is collected.
5. Data Security
Your notes never leave your device. No account is required to use Brev.
6. Children's Privacy
Brev does not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
7. Changes
I may update this policy occasionally. Changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above.
